Hotel Baco

The room was dirty, with dust in places that looked like it hadn’t been wiped for years. I’ve attached a photo. The toilet button also didn’t work properly. The location is far from the center, though tolerable. A terrible hotel, and the staff showed a very poor attitude toward guests, with no customer focus.

For the price, it’s a small but decent hotel. The double bed felt cramped for two, though the mattress was comfortable. The internet was bad, but the hot shower was great. There’s a terrace upstairs with a nice view, and the hallway has vintage decorations.

Good location, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s a three-star hotel, so don’t expect much.

The urinal in my room smelled strongly of fresh urine. I asked to have it cleaned, but it wasn’t done until the third day. I almost vomited while pouring soapy water on it. Men's urine smells especially foul to me, because of their hormones. The windows are shared with all the guests in the corner and with the adjacent residential building, so you’re looking at other people’s windows. The female staff member spoke only a little English and wasn’t quick to help. The male staff member spoke better English and was more helpful. There’s no guest toilet at the hotel, so use the one at the airport or train station before arriving.
