We spent our time unwinding at Finca Ses Figueres, a spacious, peaceful place where everything feels thoughtfully arranged, from the planting to the furnishings. The garden is so beautifully laid out it kept catching our attention, and the saltwater pool is immaculate. The house is spotless and very well equipped, right down to a grand piano, so we never felt short of anything. There are terraces and places to sit around the house and garden for different times of day, plus an amazing view over the little bathing cove at the far end of the property. The finca itself is a dream, set in Colonia de Sant Pere, one of our favorite spots in Mallorca.

We were four adults and three children, and we'd gladly return with the kids. The place is tucked away from the tourist areas and wonderfully peaceful, with clean grounds and a lovely pool. Matthias, the landlord who lives on the property, was warm and helpful, but we hardly ever noticed him around. Thanks again to Matthias for being such a hospitable host.

The little walk from the gate to the natural beach makes it easy to pop down for a swim and then head back to the pool. Colonia de St. Pere is close by too, with nice places along the promenade for dinner. The finca itself is my favorite spot on the whole island. Its grounds feel like a botanical garden, and the house has lovely details throughout. We especially liked dinner on the veranda or rooftop terrace at sunset. With the pool and all that space to relax, it felt like paradise.

The price isn't low, but I thought it was worth every penny, and we felt so comfortable that we'll definitely return. It's hard to come across a property like this, with the sea beside it, mountains nearby, and a gorgeous garden around the house. Inside, it's elegantly furnished, and central heating is an unusual bonus in this part of the region.

Such a lovely place to settle in and relax, or head out for a hike or bike ride and a swim. I'm always happy to come back for the personal, warm welcome, cozy heated rooms, gorgeous garden, and beautiful nature all around.
