The kitchen was one of our favorite parts, it was really well equipped. The kids had a great time in the estate gardens, and we spent most of December inside with friends, enjoying the two cozy living rooms and their fireplaces. It’s a lovely place for a family holiday or a group stay, in a beautiful setting. The best rural house in Galicia we’ve stayed in. We’ll be back soon!

That sunset from the stone wall, with a glass of Rioja, is an evening I’d happily repeat. We stayed at Casa Nimor at the end of April with another family, three young children between us, and a nanny. The owners and property managers were helpful and flexible with what we needed, so we were already looking forward to the trip from the moment we booked. The house itself was a hit. Rooms are roomy and have their own bathrooms, and the breakfast table looks out over the mountains. We also made good use of the pool house, with its big grill and dining table, and the Sonos system was on from morning until night. Towels, toys, a Nespresso machine, all there too. Highly recommend it. We’ll come back.

The quiet setting and those valley views were spectacular, and we’d definitely return. We spent three days here with two families and were delighted with the place. The house was lovely, spotless, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable too, which isn’t something you can always count on in rural accommodation. Sofía, the owner, was friendly and attentive whenever we needed anything.

The owners are lovely, and the house is spectacular, with tasteful decor. Just be aware that the upper suite is reached by a spiral staircase, which may not work well for elderly guests. Three of the bedrooms also have their own outside entrances, so getting to the living room in winter can be uncomfortable.

Gabi and Sofía put so much care into the place, and made us feel welcome, almost like family. The service was wonderful, and the house was looked after down to the smallest detail. We especially loved the fresh breakfasts made with produce from their own gardens. There’s plenty nearby for hiking and biking, with easy access to Vigo, Ponteareas, Salvaterra, and neighboring Portugal. You can also choose between a beach, a river beach, or thermal baths and spas. We’ll be back, and we’re so grateful for everything.
