A good hotel for a Camino stay, right on the way out of Astorga. The shower isn't very practical, though.

It's advertised as being on the Camino de Santiago route, but it isn't. There's no laundry, and it's in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't recommend it to pilgrims.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Ponferrada. The food was tasty, and both the set menu and children's menu worked out well. The service was adequate, and the place had the usual roadside bar feel. It's unpretentious and suited a quick bite, with a very reasonable quality to price ratio. The set menu was €13.50, including a drink, bread, coffee, and dessert. It's hard to find all that at this price these days.
