The service was okay, and the waiter really tried to be nice. The tapas that came with the food were good. I had bravas, some of the worst I’ve ever had, and salsicion y jamon, which were okay. The food was okay if you’re starving, but this is a terrible place to eat, right in front of the trash. They also add 50 cents to every dish if you eat on the terrace. A 1 euro tapa becomes 1.50, a 50% increase, while a 10 euro tapa becomes 10.50, or 5%. As someone who studied economics, that doesn’t make sense.

We had lunch at the restaurant on a freezing winter day during the second lockdown in 2020. The service was great, the food incredible, and we left feeling really good. We enjoyed the experience a lot.

The rooms were clean, and the desk staff were efficient and pleasant. It’s a simple hotel right in the middle of Ávila’s old town, though the street can stay noisy past 10 pm.
