We had a fairly quiet two weeks in August, though there were still people around. The apartments work well for a family beach break: the shared areas are extensive and very well cared for, and there’s a gate straight out to the promenade and beach. The beach is huge, so people are spread out except near the entrances. There’s quite a lot of green algae that looks like stagnant water, though. Nearby, it’s mostly just apartments and beach, with no shops, supermarkets, bars, or restaurants. Mobile reception kept cutting in and out. Maybe that’s related to being so close to the border, but I’m not sure.
