A lovely, clean place with good food, swimming pools, and a relaxed feel. In September there weren’t too many people, so it was easy to chill out. The ocean and beach are wonderful. You can take a bus to Ayamonte, then catch the ferry to Portugal. We had a great stay!

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and the beach is just a few minutes away on foot. The hotel looks great, has good facilities, and the service was impeccable. It’s a good choice with younger children, though there isn’t much else locally and you’ll need a car or another way to get around. There’s a 4 euro train that goes around the area and stops near more shopping stalls and amusements. Portugal is only a few miles away, so you can pop over and see what’s there. Vegetarian options are limited.

The hotel staff were very attentive and quick when clearing the dining room, though there seemed to be too few people preparing the food. There was a great variety to choose from. Meal times could be longer, especially lunch, which could start a little earlier. Waiting is hard with little kids, and it cuts into the afternoon break. The hotel itself is beautiful, with good views and nice rooms, though ours felt a bit small for two adults and two children. One lovely touch was a bottle of champagne waiting in the room for the person traveling with me, for his birthday, compliments of the hotel. Thanks for the thoughtful gesture.

The views and location are nice, and the pool area is very clean and well kept. The hotel itself feels tired and needs maintenance, and our room wasn’t cleaned very well. The food was terrible and poorly prepared. Lunch at the bar wasn’t much better, and we had to send it back because it was completely cold.

A relaxed, friendly hotel with very good staff. Great for families with kids, with lots of activities and really good entertainment for the younger ones.
