The garden was my favorite spot to unwind after walking, and the rooms were roomy and well equipped. Mansilla’s centre is a bit of a walk away, but the hosts are easy to reach and can drive you to and from the accommodation. Anna and Felix were so welcoming and helpful, and you can have a delicious home-cooked dinner there in the evening if you want. I loved my stay, and after 25 days on the Camino, this was my favorite place. I’m rewriting this because I’m not sure where my first review went!

There’s a lovely garden and a comfortable lounge and dining area where you can relax. It’s a pretty little place opposite a church tower with storks nesting, and although it’s a little outside town, they provide rides back. Anna and Felix were so kind and accommodating when I needed to rest and ice my knee. They really went out of their way to help.

After a long day walking, Ana made me feel completely welcome. She’s so kind and caring, and even picked me up and dropped me off in the morning because the hotel is a little off the Camino route. My room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were fantastic. The garden is lovely and the dining room is beautifully decorated. Ana is a pleasure, and I strongly recommend Hotel Astura for a peaceful break on the Camino. Thank you, Ana, Felix, Nelson and Dora 🐾❤️

Anna was a superb host, and the house is comfortably furnished and sits in a beautiful garden. It’s a delightful place in a pretty little town, conveniently not far from Leon. If you get the chance to try the wild boar meat patty prepared by her husband, take it!

The accommodation is simple, clean and well maintained. It’s in a rural village, about a 4 km taxi ride from the Camino, and you can arrange a morning ride to the route with them. Ana and Felix are very nice and seemed to do everything they could for their guests. As vegetarians, we often have trouble arranging meals, but they were able to accommodate us.
