Hotel Badalona Tower

The breakfast had a great selection and the staff were friendly, but we wouldn't stay here again. The room needs attention, with dated wood and colours. Water leaked through the shower screen into the toilet area, and the bathroom radiator wouldn't turn on. We found only one English TV station. There aren't any coffee or tea making facilities, and the rooms don't even have free water.

I booked for December 31, 2025 and cancelled just two days later, with plenty of time left before the stay. Even though the room could easily have been sold again, the hotel offered no flexibility or solution. I understand non-refundable policies, but refusing any accommodation in what seemed like a reasonable situation, with no real loss to the hotel, showed no empathy or customer focus. This has made me wary of the booking conditions, since apparently no exceptions are made. I wouldn't book here again and can't recommend the property.

Breakfast was a highlight for us, and there were several places to eat nearby. We chose this hotel mainly because it has a secure underground car park, with the fee included in the room rate. We were driving ourselves, so finding a hotel with its own parking had taken a lot of effort. It's just outside the city centre. The hotel has a distinctive design, though it feels a little dated. Our room was on the small side, and the bed was generally comfortable. Once we added the sofa bed, the mattress shifted a bit. The bedside lamp was also easy to hit with an elbow, and it came loose shortly after we arrived, so I contacted reception. The staff were friendly and helpful, and handled it well by immediately offering to move us to a new room. We really appreciated that service. The bathroom had a separate dry and wet area. The nearest metro station is about a 15-minute walk, so we usually took a taxi back after visiting the city centre. I'd still recommend the hotel.

It was an easy 10-minute walk to the beach. The hotel was clean, the staff were consistently kind and helpful, and the price felt fair for what we got. We were very satisfied and would recommend it.
