The rooftop view was amazing, and the whole stay felt really romantic. Angela was so sweet and welcoming, and went out of her way to help us during our vacation. It’s a historic, beautiful place with a character you don’t get at other bed and breakfasts, and good value for the money.

Having jamon, bread, and a bottle of Rioja up on the rooftop was exceptional. The bed was cozy, and breakfast was very good. Angela has made this 8th-century tower into a lovely boutique hotel with a great medieval feel. It’s a real pearl among the area’s hotels and accommodations. Thanks for a wonderful experience. The roof is a nice place to take in the village and the surrounding area, and the hotel makes a good base for visiting other places nearby before coming back in the evening. It’s a quiet, restful stay in a medieval tower built in the 1200s, renovated with a lot of care. The spacious modern rooms have big, comfortable beds and a refrigerator. Angela, the proprietor, is a talented artist who specializes in medieval art and pottery. Veronicas is just around the corner for a beer or Rioja outside. Castañeros, the next village, has 3-4 bars and restaurants, about a 15-minute walk or a 3-minute drive away. A unique and genuine experience, highly recommended.

The owner’s passion really comes through in the furnishings, art, decor, and careful renovation. The place also has a real sense of authenticity, and was more comfortable than we expected. It didn’t just meet our expectations, it went well beyond them. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the host was really nice. The tower’s height needn’t put you off, there’s an elevator, the only modern thing there. A lovely place to stay, all in an authentic style.
