Hotel Madreselva

The courtyard, full of tropical plants, is beautiful and a lovely place to have breakfast or a drink outside. We had two nights there in October 2024, a family of four in the hotel’s two-bedroom apartment. We’ve stayed at the hotel twice before, and would happily return to Madreselva. It’s on the main road in Los Caños, about two minutes from the beach, with secure parking next door and a small pool. Sadly, we had a lot of rain during our stay. The apartment has traditional furnishings, comfortable beds, showers in the bathrooms, and a small kitchen with a fridge, which we didn’t use on our short visit. There are also three terraces with seating. We could bring our dachshund for a small fee. Breakfast in the bar was delicious and a real highlight. The staff were lovely, helpful, and friendly.

I love how the terrace is filled with lush, exotic plants and little comfortable seating spots, leading to the pristine pool and comfy sunbeds. It’s a tranquil oasis for a relaxed break, with spotless rooms, TVs, air conditioning, and intimate private terraces. The beds are very comfortable, with quality linen. Breakfast is buffet style, with a large choice of very good food and drinks. The staff are friendly and efficient. One of my all-time favourite hotels, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. It’s a lovely little hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fab too.

They even provided a bed for our dog, who stayed with us for €15 a day. The hotel was cosy, breakfast was nice, and the staff were super kind ❤️
