AC Hotel Sants

The area isn’t especially interesting, and it’s about a 5 min walk from sans station. It can be noisy outside, but the room was soundproof. The hotel looked modern and recently renovated. My room was clean and well equipped, though its large, narrow shape felt odd because it was on a corner (see pics). A heads up for elites, breakfast isn’t available at this location. The gym was being renovated and only half functional. Some machines were plugged in, but most of the equipment and attachments were still in boxes. It was inconvenient, so I chose to run outside and enjoy Barcelona’s good weather.

The room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Breakfast was terrific and started at 7:30am. There’s no kitchen over the weekend, so there won’t be a hot breakfast then.

The location is the best part, with trains and other public transport easy to reach. Staff were super courteous, and both the hotel and breakfast were fab.

The area didn’t feel very safe to me, and there wasn’t much to do nearby. The hotel itself was in awful condition, the service was terrible, and our room wasn’t properly cleaned. The shower swung between scalding and freezing with nothing in between. On top of that, the AC made a loud, steady noise all night, so getting rest was nearly impossible. This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We had a really poor experience and didn’t sleep well. I absolutely don’t recommend it.
