The staff made us feel so cared for throughout the stay. Special thanks to Juan, the Front of House Manager, for thoughtfully coordinating everything, and to the whole team for being so warm and professional. They asked what our children were interested in and arranged a Christmas surprise with thoughtful gifts. We’d only expected a tree, so that was incredibly touching. The Christmas dinner was delicious and beautifully prepared, too. When we ordered food delivery, staff brought it up to our room without us asking and checked whether we needed plates or utensils. We had several rainy days, but were happy relaxing at the hotel and enjoying the view. There was even a beautiful rainbow after the rain. The room was extremely comfortable, and the location made it convenient to get around the city. We had a truly wonderful stay and would give the hotel more than five stars if we could. We’ll absolutely return and highly recommend it for the service and the warm, memorable experience.

The restaurant and waiters were top notch, and we really enjoyed the fresh, unusual tasting menu. At breakfast we could order dishes from the menu as well as enjoy a lovely buffet. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Our modern room had striking wraparound windows over the boulevard, and the location made it easy to walk to lots of sites and enjoy the surroundings. We loved our stay. Definitely five star.

The staff here are amazing, so kind and accommodating, and that really made the stay a pleasure. The room was clean and spacious, the gym was great, breakfast was amazing, and the location was good. Highly recommend!

Breakfast at Virens Restaurant was delicious. I’m usually not much of a breakfast person, but the range of tasty organic choices got me enthusiastically joining my husband each morning. There were great vegan options too. Thanks to Luigi, Gema, & Daria for the warm hospitality. We also had a great evening at the rooftop bar, Azimuth, with friends, drinks, light bites, and enchanting views. The sauna was a lovely way to start or end a day out. This was our second stay at Almanac Barcelona. We enjoyed our first visit in Nov 2018 so much that we knew we wanted to return on our most recent trip in Nov 2025. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, clean, modern, charming, and central. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable, and well-appointed, and the shower is relaxing and inviting. Everyone at reception was welcoming. Thank you to Sheryl & Andres at the front desk for the sparkling welcome, and to Florin for the insights, welcome gift, and kind help with our luggage. Highly recommend treating yourself to a stay here. Thanks again!

The location was perfect, and the atmosphere elegant, but it was the warm, professional staff that made this such an outstanding stay. Service was flawless from beginning to end. Paul deserves a special thank you for his kindness, attention to detail, and positive energy. A solid 10/10. I’ll definitely be back.
