The only part we found complicated was checking in at the machine. If you get stuck, staff will come help. The apartment itself was great: a very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, a huge, comfortable French bed, and a large balcony with a table and chairs. Shops of all kinds are right next door. There are two metro lines close by, and Clot train station is an easy walk. We were very satisfied with everything else and I'd recommend it to everyone.

We spent our evenings relaxing in the living room after walking all over the city. The porch opens off that room, and the apartment is quiet and sage at night. The air conditioning works well. It’s a clean, comfortable place for 2-3 people, with a king bed in the main bedroom, a single in the second, and a practical kitchen with a stove and fridge. A few things about arrival: the four-digit code and the button on the left, which looks like a cell phone, get you in. They say it's marked “A”, but it's hard to see. The registration machine works fine if you take your time and choose your own language. Position your IDs properly to avoid glitches. To pay the fee, tap your card underneath the opening above the credit card slot. Your room key comes out on the side, not the front where the receipts appear. We used the concierge for bag check. He's a good guy, but takes lunch from 2-4 in the afternoon. There's a great breakfast place around the corner, and the subway station is two rights from the front door without crossing the street. The host communicated well, and we'd definitely stay again.

The bathroom was awful. I wouldn't recommend staying here with more than two people: the hot water ran out by the second person, and there was almost no anti-slip protection or drainage. On the ground floor there was no Wi-Fi signal at all, and mobile reception was very weak. Our room had no terrace or natural light and barely any ventilation. A strong bad smell hit us as soon as we opened the door. The bed looked fine at first, but under the covers the sheets were dirty. The cleaning was clearly only superficial, and I've never stayed in a hotel in such poor condition. Getting into the room took over an hour. There were no instructions beforehand, just a vague, unclear notice on the door. The check-in system was incredibly complicated and felt outdated, hard to believe it still exists in 2025. Things already felt wrong from arrival. We tried to reach staff over the weekend and got no response. By chance, someone came the next day because the front door was broken. We explained the room problems and asked for help, but he was dismissive and impatient. He said someone would come clean, without even asking which room we were in, and seemed to want to brush us off. He didn't care when we said we'd leave a negative review if nothing was done. This was the worst accommodation experience I've ever had, and it badly affected my impression of Barcelona. Aside from the location, everything was a disaster. For a price that isn't exactly cheap, these conditions were unbearable, and now I don't even want to return to Barcelona. I do not recommend this place.

The room was spacious and really comfortable, with a nice terrace for sitting out or hanging clothes. The kitchen was only semi-equipped: there was no salt or pepper, though that wasn't a big deal. There's a washing machine but no laundry capsules. We poured the supplied liquid dish soap into its compartment instead, and that worked fine. The place is in a nice area, with Sagrada Familia close by, lots of supermarkets, and two metro stations nearby. The beach is walkable if you enjoy a longer stroll. Check-in took some effort: reception didn't answer when we rang, so we waited until someone who lives there opened the door and slipped in to use the automatic machine. It wasn't difficult, just tedious to enter all our details on a touchscreen. Check-out was seamless, just drop your card in the box by the door. A great place for our trip, and we'd visit again.
