The apartment's one real plus was being within walking distance of Sagrada Familia. We found the place spacious, but the pictures seemed misleading, almost as if they were AI generated. The windows faced interior walls, so there was barely any natural light. Every room was dark enough that it was hard to tell day from night. Dust was all over the apartment, though the sheets were relatively clean. The bathroom had pieces missing from a peculiar window that faced a wall. In one bedroom, the light switches worked only sometimes. There were cracked ceilings with peeling plaster, poorly maintained old furniture, exposed seals, and doors that barely shut. The kitchen tiles had been painted over, and that paint was peeling. For four days, we were given one dishwasher capsule and one washing machine capsule, which wasn't enough. The washing machine was in a storage area on the balcony. We also had to clean up, take out the rubbish, and wash the dishes, or risk a €50 charge for each issue from the deposit. Our deposit was held until five days after checkout. Because we arrived late from the airport, we also paid an extra €40 for the host to meet us at the apartment.
