Be Mate Paseo de Gracia

The living room and bedrooms were modern, comfortable, and roomy, with all the comforts of a hotel in a luxury apartment. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel on checkout day, and the reception staff were attentive. They even called a taxi for the 15 minute drive to Barcelona Sants Train Station. The spot in the Garcia neighborhood was hard to beat, about a 5 minute walk from a metro station, with restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing all easy to reach. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the shower pressure was great. Having a washing machine was a real bonus. It’s in a handy part of the commercial district, with shops and pretty much everything else within easy walking distance. A fantastic place to stay in Barcelona.

We had everything we needed for our week: a kitchen, laundry, balcony, and living and dining areas. The room was clean and spacious, and nearby supermarkets and bodegas made it easy to pick up anything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Be Mate. The historic building has been beautifully updated to modern standards. The street was quiet and clean, and felt safe and family-friendly. Diagonal Metro station is very close, with easy connections around the city. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Being able to message the front desk on WhatsApp made basic requests easy. They also arranged airport transfers for us, which was a big help. We’d stay again and recommend it to friends. Thank you!

We were worried about arriving early, since early check-in couldn’t be arranged before the previous guest checked out at 11:00am. The hotel had already prepared our room card, though, and let us leave our luggage at reception. Once the room was ready, they brought our bags up for us. We really appreciated the thoughtful help.
