Hotel Best Front Maritim

The sea-side location is the hotel’s biggest advantage, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was okay. But I didn’t feel comfortable there and was relieved when it was time to go home. My room was old and very small, with no wardrobe or balcony, and the walls needed repainting and repair. The bathroom was old too, and the hairdryer barely worked. It also needed a deep clean: the floor, windows, and shower cabin weren’t as clean as I expected. I can’t say whether every room is like this, but mine felt quite worn out. It didn’t match the online photos either. There was no headboard, and while the pictures looked fresh and modern, the room didn’t feel fresh at all. At half the price it might have been acceptable, but not for what I paid. Some hostels I’ve stayed in were cleaner. I wouldn’t return.

The reception staff were very helpful and did their best to assist us throughout the stay. The room and facilities, though, fell short of expectations for the price. We had specifically asked for two separate single beds, but arrived to find a double bed. The heating wasn’t working at check-in, so reception kindly moved us to another room. The heating there wasn’t working properly either, and the room quality was still below expectations. The elevators also caused problems during our stay, making things less comfortable. Overall, the room conditions and facilities didn’t meet expectations.

Everything is nearby, and the area is lovely for relaxing walks and enjoying the beach. The location is especially good if you want to stay close to the sea. A special thank you to NIA at reception, who was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel truly welcome!

Everything went well overall. The phone in the room wasn't working, and the decor looked a bit dated, but the room was clean and the service was great. The staff were wonderful, and I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you.
