The Buba House - Hostel

The rooms and bathrooms were spotless every day, and the staff made the whole stay feel easy and welcoming. They helped with everything, from checking in to suggesting places nearby. Everyone was genuinely kind and seemed to care about guests. One of my best hostel stays, and I’d happily recommend it for the cleanliness and service.

We had a great time making friends over pizza on Thursday night. They offered it for free, and we all made it together, then spent ages chatting while we ate. The front desk clerk was friendly and showed us around. There’s free coffee and pastries in the kitchen, the bed is comfortable, and the price and location are both great. It felt like home.

The location was perfect, and the price felt like great value. We stayed as two people in a room with two bunk beds. It was clean, and the shared toilets and bathrooms were also clean and enough for us. Our floor was quiet and peaceful. The employees were caring and friendly. There wasn’t a big lobby to hang out in, but the kitchen had plenty of free tea, coffee and croissants. It closes after 10 at night. Towels were provided free. They warned us the elevator could be unreliable.

The central location was a real plus, and the prices were reasonable. The staff were very nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed. But the six-bed room I shared with a friend was stuffy, with poor ventilation and no air conditioning. The fan barely helped, so sleeping was difficult and I woke up with a headache. The shower was dirty too. We were told not to use the unreliable elevator because we could get stuck, so we had to haul our heavy suitcases up the stairs.
