The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, and reception staff were pleasant apart from one. You know who you are! My room had a nice wee balcony, but it was small, there was nowhere practical to hang clothes, and the mattress was uncomfortable. The interior colours and lighting felt dull and depressing, and the place really needs a makeover. Noise insulation was poor too. Bin lorries outside made a racket at 03.00 !!

The receptionists were super, super nice, interactive and always ready to help find solutions if you had an issue. Breakfast was really nice and varied too. The hotel is very nice and close to Plaza Cataluña. 100+ for the reception team!

The location is the best part, right next to Plaza Catalunya and very well connected by public transport. I’d recommend it for a short stay in Barcelona. The room was OK, but there was barely space for a laptop or to work, and hardly anywhere for clothes beyond a few hangers. The bathroom was nice, though the shower drain couldn’t keep up, so I had to lower the pressure to stop it becoming a small swimming pool. I didn’t try breakfast, since there are plenty of nice places nearby.

The central location was perfect and convenient, and we’ll most likely come back one day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the kind gentleman with glasses at reception. Highly recommended!

We weren’t guests here, but we were having trouble finding a taxi with a child seat, so we asked reception if they could call and book one. They helped without any hassle, which was a big help. 5/5 service!
