The room has a small balcony overlooking a busy road, so there’s some noise. Once we shut the doors and turned on the air conditioner, it was fine. The location is very central, with buses, the tram, and subway right outside, and the apartment has a lift, which is handy with luggage.

The rooms are very large and the beds were comfortable, and it’s a nice apartment for a group with some fast food places nearby. Getting to the beach is a tiring 45-minute walk. The showers were hard to use, with no hot or cold indicator, and most of the time the water was icy cold.

The apartments are huge and right in the city center, and the price was very good. The guy we dealt with was helpful. You have to let the hot water run for a bit before it gets properly hot. The subway goes underneath the building, which could be an issue if you go to bed early. Even so, it’s a very nice place.

It’s almost right above a train or metro station, and the main sights in the center are within walking distance. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. It’s a good place to stay while visiting Barcelona, though it isn’t a five-star hotel.

The breakfast was very good, and the hostel was super clean and safe. Everyone at Casa Consell was lovely and ready to help with anything. They know Barcelona inside out, lol. This is where I want to stay the next time I visit, and I’d absolutely give it five stars. I’ll be back soon!
