Casa Gracia Barcelona Suites

We spent three nights here. The location is excellent for sightseeing, and it felt safe to go running before sunrise. I understand it's a budget hostel, so I was happy to stay. The room was so-so. The bed and pillow were too soft for me, and there wasn't much flat table space. I haven't found any bed bugs so far, though I had seen earlier reviews mentioning them. I don't know why there's no shower curtain in the bathroom. Water gets all over the floor after a shower, and it takes a while to dry. That's pretty annoying.

Alia at reception made a great impression on me. She was friendly, professional and helpful, took time to find me a good room, and made sure I was comfortable and happy with it. Her customer service really stood out. I also had a great stay at Casa Gracia in Barcelona. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, a very good location, and everything felt clean and well organized.

The room was a little small, but that didn't bother us since we spent most of the day out exploring. We had a great stay and would happily come back. The room was very clean, and the location was ideal for walking around or catching the metro. The man and women at reception were all extremely kind, helpful and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

The room in the annex was so tiny, and the bathroom and shower felt institutional. I’d been looking forward to a lovely vacation with my friend, so it was a real letdown. The annex is about a one-minute walk from the main hotel and felt more like a student dorm than a hotel. I first stayed here around eight years ago and had a wonderful time, which is why I booked again last year expecting the same. The hotel should show more accurate photos and explain the annex more clearly so guests know what they’re booking. I was very disappointed and don’t plan to return.
