The place was nice and clean, but it was quite small, and one bathroom wasn't enough. It also wasn't as close to the city as I'd expected.

A fantastic place to stay in a lively part of Barcelona.

I was very disappointed by my one-night stay at Castro Exclusive Residences in Gracia. I had a ground-floor apartment, and the walls needed painting, the bathroom ceiling was very damp and left unpainted after renovations, and the doors and frames were swollen. Despite all that, I decided to shower in the morning. Water was pouring down from the floor above, and I found the bathroom extremely damp. Very bad.

Avoid this residence. It's run-down: the bathroom sink was clogged, the shower had mold, furniture was broken, and the sofa and cushions were stained. Check-in was through a machine, and the managers weren't there. They couldn't even provide the magnetic cards needed to enter our apartment. Other tenants had cards that could open ours, which was unacceptable. The Castro residence did nothing to solve the problem that day. We left the next day because we felt unsafe, but I was charged for a night I didn't use and Castro residence refuses to refund me. Outrageous, a complete rip-off.

I had a very pleasant stay on May 5th. The place was very clean and well located. I highly recommend it.
