Catalonia Albeniz

We were very happy with our four-night stay. The reception team were kind and helpful, and the room was cleaned every day. Our room was on the second floor and faced the street. The hotel is near the metro, cafes, bars, and restaurants, with some tourist spots walkable. Even the beach is reachable on foot, in about 40 minutes. We found the metro useful for getting from the airport to the hotel and around town. The T-casual card for 10 trips was particularly handy.

The area was quiet, while still being close to the subway, train, and city center. During our three nights, the room stayed clean and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and will definitely come back.

It's a good choice for a quick sightseeing trip if you won't spend much time in the hotel. The rooms and general tidiness are a strong point. It can be quite noisy, though, since you can hear the elevator from the room.

The location is great, but this was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Two people couldn't move around at the same time, and when one went to the bathroom it felt as if the other had come in too. There was just one small window for sunlight. No slippers, coffee, or toothbrushes, though at least towels were provided.
