Catalonia Mikado

There are lots of bakeries and cafés just steps away, open early with fresh pastries, so breakfast is easy even if you don't want the hotel's. The hotel breakfast costs 17 eu and isn't included in the room price, but there's plenty of good quality food. The hotel is well placed for buses and within an easy walk of shops, markets and restaurants. Staff were friendly and happy to answer questions, and check-in was easy. Our room was small but had what we needed to feel comfortable and safe. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

The room was clean and made a good first impression. It wasn't huge, but it wasn't too small either, and had just enough space.

It's conveniently close to public transport, markets, restaurants and other places, and the price was good, especially for a hotel outside the city centre. The gym is small but the equipment is good quality. My only minor annoyance was that there wasn't a kettle in the room. A pleasant stay overall.

It took about a 15-minute drive to get outside the centre, but getting in by cab or public transport was easy. Being a bit farther out was worth it: there are good food spots nearby, and the area felt more peaceful. The hotel was really clean, the air conditioning was great, and the room had everything we needed despite being on the smaller side. The little pool and jacuzzi were lovely. Check-in was easy and the staff were lovely. Our room fridge kept our iced water cold with ice for 36 hours. Can't recommend the place enough.
