The ticket was inexpensive, and there’s a surprising amount to discover inside La Monumental: a little corrida museum, a chapel, stables, and striking tiles across the building. From inside the arena, you can also see a large clock decorated with tiles. I thought it was a hidden gem, even though the outside is impressive on its own. Finding the route through the tour wasn’t easy because there weren’t clear signs, perhaps since the venue is still used for events. The souvenir shop was shut, and seemed to have been closed for a while.
