Duquesa de Cardona Hotel 4 Sup by Duquessa Hotel Collection

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, and the hotel is very close to the harbor and beach. Staff were so welcoming and made me feel special. A special thanks to Marta at the front desk, who was friendly and quickly helped sort out a small issue. The service was excellent, and I’d highly recommend the place.

We loved the location, close to the water and a pleasant walking area. At night we explored the many alleyways around the hotel and were happily surprised by all the restaurants, bars, and shops. It was crowded, but not too crowded, and felt safe with a positive atmosphere. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the front desk staff were attentive and helpful. We had a great stay and would make a point of coming back if we’re in Barcelona again.

We spent seven nights here last December, and the room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. The bathtub was a real bonus, the location was perfect, and all the staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was excellent too, with lots of choices. On the night before checkout, we came back to find a bottle of wine as a surprise gift. We really appreciated the hospitality. We checked out on New Year’s Day, and the front desk staff greeted us with “Akemashite Omedetou” in Japanese. Such a memorable stay.

The location is what lifts this to a 4/5 for me. It’s great for exploring Barcelona, though there are better priced hotels nearby. The rooms are small and not very cozy, and the beds feel cheap, more like a three-star standard. Breakfast is reasonable but nothing special. Staff were a mixed bag, with some helpful and others unfriendly or grumpy. Overall, the experience was 3/5, and I wouldn’t recommend it at this price.
