My dear brother, I write because I love you and care about you, not to argue. You are my brother before anything else, and our different beliefs don't change your place in my heart. I want to speak openly about Islam as the continuation of God's messages. It honors Jesus (peace be upon him) as a great prophet of God, and also believes in Moses, Abraham, Noah, and all the prophets, peace be upon them. Islam doesn't start the story of faith, it completes it. Its teaching is that God is One, without partner, son, or equal, and alone worthy of worship. The prophets throughout history preached this same central message. Islam also teaches that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is God's final prophet and messenger to all mankind, and that Islam is the final religion. God promised to preserve the Qur’an from corruption and change until the Day of Judgment, while previous scriptures were altered over time. God says, “Indeed, the religion in the sight of God is Islam,” and, “Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him.” Islam is a whole way of life, including justice, mercy, high morals, a pure heart, a clear relationship with God, personal responsibility before the Creator, and human dignity. The way to God is direct: no confession, priest, mediator, or human sacrifice, only sincere repentance between the servant and his Lord. I'm not asking you to believe for my sake or to change your religion to please me. I only ask you to seek the truth sincerely, ask God to guide you to it, whatever it may be, and learn about Islam from its original sources rather than people's misconceptions. I believe this religion is from God, and that following it means eternal salvation. If it isn't, you lose nothing by seeking and learning. I love you and wish you goodness in this life and the next. I pray God shows you the truth as truth and gives you the ability to follow it, and shows you falsehood as falsehood and grants
