Eurostars Grand Marina

The breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice of high-quality food and drinks. The hotel also went beyond what I expected with a special request I made in the booking. The rooms were very clean and modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The service was beyond what you'd expect even at a 5-star hotel. Fantastic place, highly recommended.

Better than I expected. The hotel isn't brand new, but my room was in pretty good shape. It had both a bathtub and a shower, plus a steamer that seemed more suited to a hotel room than an iron.

The experience at Eurostar Marina Hotel was disappointing all the way through. When we arrived, check-in seemed normal, but after we got to our room they called to say we had to leave a credit card as a guarantee against damage. We couldn't leave a card, so they asked for €300 instead. We travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels, but had never encountered that. It felt unnecessary and unprofessional. The room's cleanliness was unacceptable for this level of hotel. The sheets and towels had black stains, and there were blood stains on the bathroom walls. It was disgusting and made us very uncomfortable. We paid a lot, expecting a great trip at what we thought was one of Barcelona's best hotels, and the stay fell far short. Service was poor too. Reception didn't answer when we called to order food, or call back. When we asked for water, it took ages. I eventually went downstairs and found reception staff chatting together instead of working. They brought the water only after I complained. Guests shouldn't have to come down because staff ignore their calls. At checkout they kept us waiting around 30 minutes while they inspected the room for possible damage. After we asked several times, the girl and the guy with glasses at reception finally said, “Okay, there’s nothing, give them the money back.” No one even properly checked with the staff whether there had been any issue. It was offensive, disrespectful, and humiliating. We left extremely disappointed after our first stay and wouldn't recommend it.

Our company organized an event at Eurostars Grand Marina hotel, and simply nothing went right, especially in our room. There was a blood mark on the sheets, a broken window or door that wouldn't close, a broken light, and a completely blocked sink we couldn't use. Fixing the window or door took 1h30 hours, so my wife and I missed our restaurant réservation. On top of that, we received some email/support mail but got no help during our stay, which lasted almost one week. The room quality, service, and customer care were all reasons we strongly wouldn't recommend this place. Thank you.
