Factory Hostels Barcelona

The location made it easy to explore beautiful Barcelona, and the hostel was clean, well organized, and thoughtfully set up for guests. We felt a warm, genuine welcome as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy. The staff were kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. They made us feel like part of a big family, not just visitors. A special thank you to Thai for her warm heart and patience with our huge school group. The hospitality touched us most and made the trip feel more special and memorable. We’re deeply grateful to the whole Factory Hostel Barcelona team for their kindness and dedication, and will always remember that welcome. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The nightlife, restaurants, and a salsa/bachata bar nearby made the evenings really enjoyable. The hostel is in a lovely area, about a 10 minute walk from Lesseps metro station and just 5 minutes on foot from Park Güell, so it’s easy to get around and visit one of Barcelona’s most beautiful landmarks. Breakfast was especially good for the price and kept me full. There was 100% orange juice, good coffee, yoghurt, and a fresh bagel with meat, cream cheese, and sundried tomatoes, or a sandwich. The place was new, modern, and spotlessly clean, so it felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Friendly staff, great facilities, and a fantastic location. Highly recommended!

The staff were the highlight for me, so helpful and kind. It’s a clean, comfortable hostel with shared rooms at a good price, very close to Park Güell. Highly recommend.

The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, each with its own bathroom and good beds. The two women at reception were super friendly and helpful. When I asked to change beds, they sorted it out right away, and they also gave me a breakfast set on checkout day. The hostel is a bit far from the city centre. Late at night, getting back could take an hour by public transport, so I was taking an Uber. It also seemed to be mostly occupied by Chinese and Asian tourists who didn’t speak English, not even a hello, and didn’t follow social standards. They acted as though they were alone in the room and didn’t respect people sleeping. That’s why I think it suits groups of friends and families better than solo visitors. Also, they charge an extra 19 euro for city tax, so take that into account.
