Feelathome Bonavista Apartment

Getting around is easy from here, with two metro lines and buses nearby. The apartment sits at the edge of Gracia, close to supermarkets, produce shops, and Placa de Vila de Gracia, where there are restaurants, cafes, and ice cream. Check-in and communication were easy, and the staff responded promptly. I'd recommend it. There were a few cleaning and maintenance snags. The shower walls hadn't been washed, so I removed soap globs myself; there were sugar ants in a cupboard, and some dishes had been put away dirty. Our dishes still weren't clean after a 1 1/2 hour dishwasher cycle. The walls also had marks and scuffs. The apartment itself was clean apart from the shower walls. Most appliances worked, but the dishwasher and coffee pot didn't. They brought a replacement coffee pot the next day. There was plenty of storage in the bedroom and bathroom, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. The terrace had new sun beds. It was sparsely decorated, with no books or movies, and I couldn't work out the satellite system, though I'm not sure whether that was my fault. They supplied tea, coffee and filters, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, napkins, shampoo, gel, soap for laundry and the dishwasher, and more.

We had a private patio, which was great for setting out breakfast with the family each morning. The bedrooms felt a bit small, though that may just be me, as an American, feeling short on space. The place was very clean and centrally located, we stayed four days without any issues, and the staff were very helpful.

Convenient location and an easy check-in. It wasn't spotless, but it was certainly not gross. A tap was leaking and got fixed quickly, while two broken windows were left unrepaired.

We stayed over Christmas. Nice location, with trendy bars and restaurants around.
