Friendly Rentals Portaferrissa

The spacious open plan lounge and kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay, and the balcony over the Main street was great for people watching. The bedrooms, though, were much smaller. Having two bathrooms was useful, but the odd swing door to the main one didn’t properly close, so everyone would walk past it. We had a rough start because the address we were given was wrong. We dragged our cases around for over an hour until a kind local showed us a place we’d never have found otherwise. We later realised that searching the apartment’s name on Google, instead of the address they sent, would have brought us there. It’s right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, a really good location. The modern minimalist design could use some practical touches, like a few handles and locks in the right places. The small bedroom also got like a hot house in the evening. There was no way to get air in except opening the window, which meant the mozzies had a feeding party all night. A mosquito net would help. It’s a good place to stay, but a little attention to the small things would make it easier to live in, rather than just sleep in.
