Gran Hotel Barcino 4*S

Assist was fantastic, and the breakfast had lots of pastries and protein choices, though it could've used more vegetables. The rooms were a little cramped but comfortable. The hotel's in a great spot for visiting the Gothic quarter. There's a lot of street construction around it right now, which isn't the hotel's fault.

We only had three days in Barcelona, and that wasn't nearly enough. Gran Hotel Barcino is in a fabulous spot in the Gothic quarter, with tour routes an easy walk away. The staff treated us like royalty. We had a beautiful veranda above the city streets, which was a lovely surprise, and hearing the cathedral bells was a real treat. It felt special to sleep above the place where the Romans used to live. 😊 I highly recommend it.

Freyker, Joel, Anibal, and Benjamin were all so friendly and welcoming. The staff were helpful with a smile from beginning to end, and the hotel was clean and well kept, which made everything more comfortable. The location was ideal too, with a great view and nearby attractions easy to reach. A fantastic stay, and I'd gladly return and recommend it.

The location couldn't be better, and the front desk team were terrific. Manager Jorge went above and beyond. We weren't happy with our room because it faced a wall, but the staff were lovely and moved us twice until we were happier. There was construction at the hotel that we hadn't been told about when booking, and getting around the elevator was challenging. In the end, we chose to walk the three flights of stairs. They don't provide washcloths or shampoo, so bring your own. The vanity was tiny for two people.
