The suite was spacious enough for our family of three, and the bedding was comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. We also appreciated getting complimentary bottled water and coffee capsules each day. The hotel is in a quiet area, with easy access to the metro and main attractions. I had a pleasant stay overall, though front desk service was inconsistent. Some staff were welcoming and helpful, while others were less attentive, which affected the experience.

I paid €350+/night for a “deluxe” room and arrived after 24 hours of travel to find the air conditioning completely out. The hotel already knew about the problem before check-in and didn’t tell me. No one let me know when the room was ready, even though I’d been told they would. That evening, it was unbearably hot, over 80°F. When I called reception, they confirmed they knew about the AC and suggested opening the balcony door. That wasn’t realistic on an extremely loud street with sirens, traffic, and nightlife noise. I asked to move rooms, but none were available. I asked for ice, cold water, or a proper fan, and none were available either. The small fan they did provide was loud and ineffective. I got virtually no sleep. There was no proactive communication about a major issue affecting my floor and the one below, no manager available to resolve it in person, and minimal effort to offer meaningful alternatives or compensation. I rarely leave a negative review, but this experience warrants a warning. A four-star hotel should not knowingly check guests into a room without functioning air conditioning, especially without notice or an offer to relocate them. The lack of transparency and basic guest care significantly disrupted my stay and my time in Barcelona. I wouldn’t recommend staying unless you’re certain all the room systems are working.

The staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly throughout our stay, and the hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spotless and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a temperature that felt just right. The bathroom was gorgeous and a real highlight. We booked through Love Holidays at a reasonable price, and the location was incredibly convenient. We could walk to most tourist attractions, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Excellent service and a wonderful stay!

The breakfast buffet was large, with a good range of food. I especially liked the big bathrooms, which had both a shower and bathtub. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are nice. It’s a great city hotel in the heart of Eixample, an area full of restaurants, bars, and different kinds of entertainment. Public transport makes it easy to reach.
