H10 Universitat Hotel

Noelia Villar made my 12 year anniversary especially memorable and went far beyond what I expected. The kindness from the staff was the biggest surprise of the stay. From booking through checkout, everything felt amazing. Check-in was easy, with cava, water, juice, candy and snacks waiting by the door. There was candy around the hotel and in the rooms too, so it’s a fun place if you have a sweet tooth. Our deluxe balcony room was clean and perfect, with a beautiful bathroom, robes and slippers, a large comfortable bed and a nice TV. From the balcony we could see over Barcelona, including Plaza Catalunya and Plaza universidad. Breakfast was filling and had what you might need: salmon, eggs, bacon, sausage and even basmati rice. They bring a basket of fresh croissants when you sit down. I’ve travelled all around Spain, and this hotel is at the top of my list. I’d recommend it to everyone. Thanks to the staff!

The rooms were very, very small, and not great for privacy or quiet since a conversation down the hall sounded like it was right outside our door. We also could have used one or two folding seats, because our suitcases took up all the available space. Still, the location was great and almost everything was within walking distance. We loved the breakfasts and rooftop bar. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. We tried Catalan, but failed miserably.

The front desk team were welcoming and very helpful. We appreciated the warm greeting and drinks when we arrived. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely appointments in both the rooms and shared spaces.

The room was spacious and clean, and I especially liked having a double sink. The location was excellent, right near the main attractions, and it was easy to get to the hotel on the shuttle bus from the airport.
