Traveling to Spain with our two kids, ages 7 and 9, we were celebrating our son’s milestone birthday. The staff helped make it feel special, and they were friendly and ready to help throughout our stay. At Hotel Hesperia Presidente – Barcelona, the connecting rooms were especially useful with two energetic children, and breakfast had plenty of good options. The location also made it easy to get to attractions, restaurants, and transport. One issue was the room temperature. It was cool weather, so the air conditioning wasn’t available, and the rooms sometimes felt hot with limited air circulation. A portable fan would help. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend the hotel.

The bathroom has no door, so at sunrise light from the shower room window comes into the bedroom. The thick curtains don’t block it, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to morning light. Our room on the 11th floor was quiet, and both the room and bed were comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful, and the location was great. I booked through Booking.com, but after checkout there wasn’t an option to leave a review.

The hotel was so clean and fresh, and it’s right in the center with easy access to public transport and tourist spots. We arrived a little early and they were happy to accommodate us. Everyone, from reception to the breakfast area, was incredibly friendly. They were playful with my son and offered him drinks and chocolates. We’ll definitely come back and recommend the place to friends and colleagues.

The bellboys Yago and Nacho really stood out. They took great care of my luggage, offered useful local directions and tips, and were always smiling, polite, and ready to help. Everyone at the hotel made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The service was thoughtful and kind, and it made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The upper floors have a stunning view across the city, and the breakfast buffet had lots of tasty choices. My room was cleaned consistently every day. The location made it easy to explore on foot, with shops, parks, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Plaça de Catalunya is about a 25-minute walk, and metro, bus, and taxi are all easy to access. I left with very pleasant impressions.
