We ended up leaving and asking for a refund. The place wasn't suitable for seniors and was definitely not wheelchair friendly. The stairs were tiny, and getting around felt uncomfortable and impractical with lots of luggage. Its location was poor too, down a hidden alley and far from restaurants and shops.

At night, Barcelona Sants Station feels calm despite all the movement around it. Travelers come and go, taxis wait outside, and you can still hear the city. The lights on the glass and metal give the station a futuristic look, and the area felt safe. A peaceful place for a walk or some quiet night photography.

We were able to continue our trip toward Madrid from this clean station. Only yesterday did I notice there's a nice, big Mercadona just around the corner!
