Hostal Central Barcelona

Don’t risk your plans by booking here. They took my money for 50 days after I’d planned my New Year’s Eve two months ahead, then canceled the booking over some silly “inconvenience.” They said I’d booked only one room instead of two. I think they just wanted to sell it for a higher price because it was New Year’s. They refunded the money, but this is apparently their style. They’ve done it at least 3 times before. The location is really central, so you can walk pretty much anywhere. The rooms are small but immaculately clean, with a great shower and ecological amenities. There’s free coffee, fruit, and cookies in the morning. Monica, the owner, was super helpful with tips on where to go and what to see, and she accommodated special needs. I loved staying here and would definitely come back if I get the chance to visit again.

Coffee is free and so tasty, and the place is clean and very quiet. It’s close to the centre, too. The staff are really friendly and the receptionist is very helpful. The shower gets very hot with amazing pressure, and cleanliness is spotless. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to rest.

The rooms are very small, but really clean, and the lady at reception was nice.
