Hostal Medea

I can't review an actual stay because I never stayed at the hotel. I booked rooms in January for my family of four, at 370 euros. A month before we were due to arrive, I got an email from the hotel using an @booking.com address, saying it was closing for renovations and asking me to cancel the reservation. I cancelled, even though booking didn't confirm anything like that. To my surprise, I kept seeing reviews of the hotel even though it was supposedly closed. It makes sense if they cancelled bookings to make triple the money for the same dates.

The location was great, check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and nice, and the hostel was quiet at night. You can hear things like doors opening and closing or toilets flushing next door, though, so bring earplugs if that would bother you.

The room was lovely, and I liked having windows that looked out onto the street. Check-in was easy, and Hostal Medea is in a great spot. We expected more of a social hostel atmosphere, but it felt much more like a hotel. Still, we had a great stay and would happily come back.

The rooms were small and noisy, and the hotel looked nothing like the pictures. I wouldn't pay a penny to stay here. I also asked to cancel the last night, but they refused to refund me. A very bad hotel.
