Hostel One Sants

For someone like me who travels solo and prefers to cook, the spacious, well-equipped kitchen was a treat. There were cooking ingredients available to share, too. The location is great, with metro stops very close and good supermarkets nearby for fresh seafood. It’s central, yet surprisingly quiet. Barcelona itself isn’t really my kind of city, but Onefam is a good option for solo travelers. I was grateful to find a booking for two nights at the last minute. The receptionists made me feel welcome and supported. The room was small but thoughtfully laid out, and I liked that the beds were separated so my things couldn’t slip through a gap to the lower bed. The shared bathrooms were clean, though sometimes crowded. I could use one on another floor instead, and the building is small enough that it wasn’t much of a walk.

Geo and Drew were wonderful leaders, and Geo especially is a great cook who puts love into what he makes. The staff are young, very friendly, and helpful. They cook and prepare things every day, which gives the place a familiar, fun feeling. I really enjoyed the stay and felt at home. I’d highly recommend it.

The staff were so kind and attentive, especially Bel, Laurie, and Abril at reception, who became my favorite girls. I’d chat and have a drink with them after coming back from the evening outings, and they’re truly sweet. Everything about this was the best hostel experience I’ve had. I got a complimentary sangria at check-in, and there was free dinner every day. The meals were all vegan, which suited me perfectly. They also organized daily activities, with drinking games and nights out at bars in the evenings. If I return to Barcelona, I’ll stay here again🥳🥳❤️❤️

The atmosphere was my favorite part. Social events and nights out made it easy to meet people from all over, and everyone was open and friendly. It made for a relaxed, fun stay, and I’d happily come back. The team was warm from the moment I arrived. They were always smiling, helpful, and ready with tips about the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were good, and the showers and bathrooms were spotless. You can tell the staff take cleanliness seriously, which helped the place feel comfortable and safe.
