Hotel Balmoral

The breakfast had plenty to choose from, including fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, sweet treats, and cereal. The staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well designed, and housekeeping did a great job making the bed, tidying up, and replacing used towels. I'd recommend this hotel!

Our room was modern, spacious, and very clean, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The city was easy to explore from here, with a bus stop close by and a short walk to the metro. There were lots of nice places to eat, and we walked to Sagrada Família in about 25 minutes. The walls were really thin, and we could feel and hear the metro below. There was also a connecting door to the next room, so noise could come through, though luckily that was only a small issue on the first night. We paid €15 for an early check-in when we arrived, which felt a bit of a con since the room was already ready. We still enjoyed our stay.

The room was small, but plenty big enough for a weekend. It was spotless, and the staff were very attentive. We paid €15 for early check-in and got access at midday, which was handy for unpacking, freshening up, and heading out. Breakfast was superb, with lots of good quality food. The hotel has a beautiful boutique feel, and we were very happy with it. I'd definitely recommend it and stay again. We didn't try the spa, but judging by everything else, I expect it's very good too.

We were very comfortable in our room, and the bed and pressed bedsheets were perfectly fine and clean. Janeth and the front office team were very helpful. I gave the service four stars because the taxi they called for our trip back to the airport cost €54, compared with the €34 taxi we took from the airport to the hotel.
