Hotel Lincoln Lounge

The metro is only a 6-minute walk away, and from there it was easy to reach Barcelona’s main sights. We also liked the calm feel of the Gràcia neighborhood, with its street art and elegant charm. The room had a balcony for a quiet breath of fresh air, plenty of space to relax with a fauteuil, a canapé, and a chair, plus a roomy wardrobe. It was modern, spacious, spotless, and comfortably equipped with shampoo, conditioner, lotion, a toothbrush, fluffy towels, slippers, a hairdryer, and air conditioning that helped during the hot summer days. I’d read some negative reviews and was hesitant before arriving, but the staff were genuinely kind and generous. They were always smiling and helpful, offered us breakfast even though it wasn’t part of our reservation, and welcomed us with a bottle of champagne. Those gestures really made a difference. The breakfast buffet was tasty and generous, with sweet and savory choices, lots of teas, and coffee freely available. For a 3-star hotel, the whole stay was far beyond what I expected. We felt at ease from the moment we arrived. I’d book again next time I’m in Barcelona. It felt like a warm, welcoming hidden gem, and I’m grateful to the whole team, especially the two lovely receptionists, for making our visit special.

Breakfast downstairs in the classy bar had more than enough choice for us, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful too. We walked from here and used the Metro, so the location worked really well in an interesting neighborhood. The door between rooms let quite a bit of sound through, though earplugs were provided and we couldn’t hear our neighbor sleeping, just coughing. He probably heard me fart 😆!

Watch out for scammers ‼️ I booked by mistake, called straight away to ask for a cancellation and refund, and they agreed, telling me to wait 24 hours. Now I still haven’t been refunded, and they didn’t let me use the room either.

Being right next to a nightclub made it feel more like a hostel and like we were part of the party, so getting much sleep was hard. The location is also far from the centre. Service was rude too, and if you have an issue, expect an argument.
