Inside Barcelona Apartments Salvà

We spent a long weekend in the downstairs three-bedroom apartment, and it was fantastic. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the kitchen had good equipment. Self check-in and check-out were very handy, and communication with the staff was good. The location was very good, close to Montjuïc Hill and the metro, with great restaurants in the area. It felt like a small La Rambla. 😊

The apartments have recently been taken over by a new company and completely renovated. They look nice and comfortable, and offer good value for the price, so I think they deserve a higher score. The neighborhood is very noisy, through no fault of the company or the apartment itself. There are a number of nearby apartments that seem to be used mostly for parties, which makes it hard to sleep at night. Still, if you’re going to Barcelona to party with a group of friends, this is definitely a place to stay! :)

The apartment is big enough for five and in a good location, seven minutes from the metro. But it needs general repairs: the door wouldn’t close, there were plumbing issues, and the walls were dirty. There wasn’t enough storage in the rooms, and the terrace shown in the pictures wasn’t available because its door was broken. Cleaning was superficial. We were charged 40 euros for check-in a few minutes after 11 o’clock. Our flight was delayed, and the staff member was late too. Communication was poor. I don’t recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartments have clearly been renovated, and communication with the property was easy. I’d stay here again without hesitation and would definitely recommend it.
