We actually liked the apartment itself and enjoyed our stay, but the service after checkout ruined it. They charged us €200, claiming we had smoked in the apartment just because we’d put a cigarette packet in the trash. We hadn’t smoked. When we asked them to show evidence, they threatened legal action, then only backed down and apologized after we pushed back. It felt like they were trying to get money from us with false claims. For the price we paid, that treatment was unacceptable. The toilet also hadn’t been properly cleaned when we arrived. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want peace of mind when checking out.

It was easy to get around from limehome, with the subway, shops, restaurants and a market just steps away. The apartment was clean and bright, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cleaning and maintenance were clearly well cared for, which made a real difference. I also met some really nice people in the common areas, making the visit more enjoyable. My experience was amazing, and I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a memorable stay in Barcelona. I hope to come back and enjoy it again. The room was spacious and I enjoyed our stay, though my partner didn’t. The bathroom had mold and a slight smell, and the location felt a bit out of the way. There’s laundry, but it’s in another building. The walls are paper thin. You can hear the neighbors chatting, their TV, and even the dog outside. I’m not sensitive to noise, but my partner is, and he couldn’t sleep with sounds coming from all directions. The elevator is pretty scary too, as it drops a little all the time.

There’s no housekeeping, so they don’t change your sheets or provide fresh towels for at least seven days. The flat is far from civilisation, and I’d think three times before booking. For four days I paid 1200 euros, which is ridiculously expensive compared with other accommodation options. You could normally rent the same flat for a month. You’re definitely not getting what you pay for. Don’t be fooled!!!
