Lodging Apartments City Center-Eixample

The Lodging team were attentive and proactive, sorting things out before I even had to ask. I really valued their professionalism and hospitality. The apartment was spotless, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home, and it was in one of the best neighborhoods. I had an amazing stay and will definitely return.

Since checking out, I've emailed twice, on 22 and 27 October, to ask about my €200 deposit. Nobody has replied or sent the refund, and several days have passed since I left. I stayed at a Lodging Apartments property in Barcelona from 12 to 23 October 2025. At check-in I paid the €200 refundable deposit and was told I'd get it back after checkout if there were no problems. One night the door lock jammed. The company eventually sent help, but we were locked out for hours without a response on WhatsApp. When staff finally arrived, they said there'd be no charge and confirmed the lock was rusty and faulty, not damaged through our misuse.

The apartment was noisy, and while we were still inside, someone used a key to enter without permission. When I raised it, they denied it and wouldn't check any cameras. I spent a good part of my trip dealing with all this instead of enjoying the stay. Completely disappointing and unprofessional. The trouble started after I booked through Airbnb. The host contacted me outside the app to ask for an extra “tax” that wasn't in the listing, which I reluctantly paid to avoid hassle. Then someone from their team messaged from a random number asking me to bring €40 cash for a “late check-in,” another fee that hadn't been disclosed upfront. I tried reporting this through Airbnb, but the original messages had been changed or deleted. When I said we should keep communication on Airbnb, they stopped cooperating and told me to deal directly with Airbnb. I strongly advise people to avoid this listing.

Getting in was easy with the self check-in and keypad. The room was very clean and had nearly everything we needed, including a coffee maker and washing machine. The location is great and central, close to sagrada, placa de caralunia, casa batllo and more. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in barcelona!
