Maldà Singular Hotel

The front desk team deserve a big shout-out. I don’t usually need much help, but this trip brought a different request every day, and they were so helpful. My first time finding reception and getting back out was a bit confusing, though that setup also keeps things quiet and secure. I stayed four nights in April and found the location handy for seeing the city. By European standards the rooms are large, though they’d seem small by American standards. High ceilings and tasteful decor made it a peaceful stay. I’d recommend it to other women travelling solo.

Our room was spotless, cozy, and comfortable, and everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful. They checked that we were looked after every day and night, and arranged our rides to and from the airport, which made things much easier. We had a great stay and will definitely come back. Thanks again!

A small terrace was a lovely place to enjoy the Barcelona sun, and the location in El Gotic was great, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was modern, updated, and very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They also had complimentary morning pastries and coffee, plus water refills.

We’ll be back! Maldà was spotless and the staff were kind and attentive. Being right in the gothic quarter made it easy to reach attractions, and the metro is right there too. It’s a great spot, especially if you want to explore the quarter while you’re in town.
