Mercehouse

The bathroom is rusty, and the breakfast is average. You can find a hotel with your own bathroom for a better price, so I wouldn’t recommend this unless you haven’t found a better option. It is very close to the beach, at least.

Being close to the beach, boardwalk, and public transport is a real plus. The apartment has a charming, clean, minimalist look, though the bedroom is comfortable but nothing special. It could use a good renovation, especially the bathroom, which has rust stains and dated fixtures. The bedroom decor is also very bland.

The house is quite nice and very clean, and it was generally very quiet. The rooms are small, though, and like everything in Barcelona, it feels overpriced. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. Since you share it with other people, it ends up being pretty meager.

The room was peaceful, in a lovely, bright apartment. When you step outside, there are views of Tibidabo, the towers of la sagrada famillia, and torrede glòries. It’s a shame the bathroom had to be shared, but we were very comfortable. A slightly more substantial breakfast would have been better. Mercé was very kind!
