The apartment would’ve been great otherwise, but we spotted two cockroaches during our two-day stay. Check-in is automated, which felt a bit sketchy. The street seemed quite rough, though the location is very central. It was also pretty loud outside at night, but it’s Spain, so.

The affordable price, balcony, washing machine, and short walk to La Rambla and the waterfront were the main positives. Still, I had a very disappointing stay and would strongly encourage anyone considering this apartment to choose somewhere else. The place was not very clean or comfortable: we found bugs, hair and dirt, and the “double bed” was two small cots pushed together, which wasn’t ideal for a couple. We were on the second floor, and it was so loud outside at night that sleeping was difficult. Maybe a higher floor would be better. The staff downstairs were rude. They hung up when we called and weren’t accommodating. The area felt sketchy and crime-ridden at night. We didn’t feel safe going out after 11 pm: we watched men stand in the street by the Bodega and watch our window, try to pickpocket passersby, and use drugs. Stay here at your own risk :)

A simple, comfortable little apartment, clean and with the basic amenities. The location is perfect, just a three-minute walk to La Rambla Road. The Gothic Quarter and cathedral are within ten minutes, and there are lots of grocery stores and restaurants on the same street. It has a washing machine, drying rack, tiny balcony, double bed, sofa bed and dining table. Go for it if you want a straightforward stay, nothing fancy or luxurious.

The apartment was clean enough and very spacious, and getting into the building and apartment felt secure. I thought the area was a bit shady at night, so be careful and stay alert. We were here for a stag do, so my impressions may be somewhat warped by the weekend we spent.
