My Space Barcelona Pool City Center

I wouldn't recommend renting these apartments. They were dirty and in need of repairs. When we arrived, we had to walk upstairs because the elevator was covered in vomit and the owner didn't want to clean it. Later they accused us of breaking the house rules and kept the €400 deposit, saying it might be needed to compensate the neighbours.

The air conditioning blew straight onto the bed, so I was freezing, while the person in the living room stayed hot because there was no vent there. Either we left the wall open and had no privacy, or one of us was uncomfortable. The tiny upstairs bedroom felt like a prison cell, with dirty walls and a damaged floor. Its bed had only a sheet and pillow, no blanket or duvet. There was no duvet cover on the other beds either, just sheets. The shower water kept switching between hot and cold, and plenty of things were dirty or broken, as the pictures show. You could see the toilet in the main "bedroom" from the living room through the windows unless the sliding wall was fully closed. So many issues. I wouldn't recommend this place and was very glad to leave.

The apartments were reasonably clean, but worn out and broken. The rooftop pool they promised was a disgusting green pond full of cigarette butts, and some windows were broken. Like many other reviewers, we were given a made-up reason for not getting our deposit back. I'd absolutely stay away.

The apartment at Roger de Flor, 70, near the Arc de Triomph, was dirty and gloomy. The glass cabinet door was shattered, and the white couch was filthy. The photos didn’t reflect what we found. My Space Barcelona at Carrer d'Hercegovinia, 1 misrepresented the place and took no responsibility. While we were there, two other groups were also complaining about their rentals. A horrible experience. Don’t use Vrbo.
