NH Collection Barcelona Constanza

Our company held an event at Hotel NH Collection Barcelona Constanza, and it went even better than we expected. The event team was quick to respond and sort out requests, which helped everything run smoothly. The staff were friendly, professional, and keen to help throughout. Berta was a wonderful partner during both the planning and the event itself. Maria, Ariel, and Kilia also gave us incredible support and hospitality. Thank you all for making the event such a success. The location was convenient for getting around, with shopping and plenty of good restaurants nearby. I'd happily recommend NH Collection Barcelona Constanza and hope to stay there again.

Pedro at the concierge desk deserves a special thank you. His excellent service and friendly manner really stood out among the staff and represented the brand well. The hotel is also conveniently located next to a mall. We spent six nights here with family and paid over $300 a night on average. The room didn't match the brand or the price. We found stains on the pillows and hair in the sheets, which should have been clean at a minimum. Water was complimentary only on the first night, and we had to ask for the complimentary coffee capsules. The shower pressure and temperature were good. Most staff were friendly, though the men at reception weren't welcoming or helpful.

The room change helped a little, but the rooms and bathrooms still felt old, with worn furniture and dated details. In the first room, there was a bad smell from the ventilation, thick old dust around the lower vent and furniture, dust on some items, and the phone was disgusting to touch. See pictures. The staff were generally helpful and polite. The tall, thin lady at a desk by the elevators, I think in client relations, was especially professional and exceptional with people. I saw her handling other guests in the same way too. She deserves a promotion and a raise :)) Breakfast was okay, with decent variety and quality, though you can find better choices on a city break. The hotel itself needs renovation.

At €400 a night, this place just doesn't feel worth the cost. The property is old, the rooms look very dated, and service is lacking. There are lots of little problems: poor breakfast, a minibar that didn't work, a room door that stuck, and a one-room gym that's only open limited hours instead of 24/7. Any one of those might be acceptable at a different price. I don't understand how it has a 4.4 rating. This isn't a 4-star hotel.
