No Limit Barcelona Central

Over $400 for barely four nights felt like robbery. The private double room had no windows or ventilation, only AC, and even that wasn't working. It was impossible to get fresh air. The toilet was awkward to use, with a tiny sink where washing your hands was barely possible. The walls were paper thin, and the sound of water pipes kept us from sleeping at night. The other guests were inconsiderate, too, and kept people awake from 5am. A horrible experience. Money thieves, don't waste your time or money here.

Stay away. The room photos are very misleading, there was no ventilation, and nobody enforced the quiet hour rules. Just a cash grab.

The location near Gaudi Museum is great, but this was the worst hostel stay I've had, and I'm glad I only spent one night there. I was in a mixed room with eight beds and found bed bugs in our beds. The room smelled bad, had no window except one facing the roof, and was noisy because of a nearby football pitch. The mattress was old and in terrible shape, with the imprint of everyone who'd slept on it. The women's shower had a dirty, old curtain and smelled damp, with damp insects in the showers. The receptionist wasn't welcoming when I arrived. Around 3am there was no receptionist on site, despite it being advertised as open 24/7. I didn't think the location made it worth the risk of taking bed bugs home. I've been back for a month and only now are we hoping we've got rid of them. I contacted No Limit Central - Barcelona twice and got no response. I also contacted HostelWorld. They refunded the small 7€ amount we paid through them, and at least they responded and made that gesture. I have to give every option one star so people can see they shouldn't come here, otherwise the rating goes up.

A guy snored so loudly that nobody could sleep all night, and there was nothing the staff could do for us. I also found bedbugs in my bed. Together, those made for a really bad stay. The staff were nice, though, so I'm giving one extra star.
